First Day in NYC

"Welcome to NYC it's 75 degrees and we will be landing in 10 minutes thank you for flying Southwest..."

I immediately got this burst of excitement throughout my entire body-heart racing, palms start sweating and I can't wipe the smile off my face. My life as an intern in NYC begins in ten minutes. Here we go...

After landing I find my way to the baggage claim and grab the first guy I see with a cart and ask him to help me with my three (embarrassingly large) bags. He grabs all three and graciously hails a taxi for me. I tip the man in the suit and thank him so much for the help and wish him a great day! I'm in the taxi off to my new home for the summer!

My summer moms (Meg and Stef) meet me outside and help me carry in my life in suitcases for 2 months. I still can't stop smiling. We get to apartment 2B and I see my new bedroom and thank them for not making me sleep in the bathtub-I get my own bedroom which I have not had since I lived at home in high school.

I get unpacked and settled in...tomorrow I'm going to The Gucci Tower to start my first day at Sergio Rossi. How am I ever going to sleep? My head hit the pillow and I'm out...
